Stone Avenue North Street Painting

Sustainable Green Lake has some exciting news to share! A final

street painting design for Stone Avenue North, between north 80th Street

and 81st Street, has been selected by the project team (See below) and

approved by the City of Seattle Department of Transportation. With funds

from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods to purchase supplies, we

are now preparing to paint the street.

The NW Permaculture Convergence is shaping up to be a remarkable event with great timing for Seattle's Year of Urban Agriculture. The DF'ed meeting process is captured on large sheets of paper under four headings: Problem Statements, Solutions, Concerns and Data. Comments are recorded as the conversation unfolds. Each point made is numbered chronologically in the flow of conversation within each heading. So you will notice that, for example, #3 under "Data" does not necessarily correspond to #3 under "Problem Statements." attended 1st. time at sgl. session developed the core founders desires to move sgl to sustain and further initiatives of the past. more to come from the next wave of locals to add their aspirations into the conversation. many of us were 1st. timers and hope to move forward with another meeting to continue the agenda developed from the facilitated process.
